Join the Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) team, where you'll contribute to groundbreaking innovations! We are seeking applicants for a Business Assistant to provide support to the leadership of the C4ISR Division. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker and be able to figure out solutions without direct oversight. Tasks include organization and preparation of meeting materials, tracking of program deliverables, program inventory, pulling and formatting weekly reports, deconfliction of schedules and SDL resources, student admin for confluence and support teams by updating information and exploring new ideas to improve functionality, and performing general clerical duties.
The Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems Division delivers mission-critical solutions, specializing in cyber operations, information architecture, strategic deterrence, and ISR. Required Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or other U.S. person
- Must be enrolled at Utah State University, with at least one year of school left
- Proficient with MS Office and other productivity tools
- Detail oriented with good organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision, as well as with a team
- Willingness to ask questions
- Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week during semesters and up to 40 hours per week during breaks
- Ability to make and maintain accountability to a work schedule
