This work includes deploying hardened Linux images, enforcing STIG baselines, integrating identity and access controls, and ensuring visibility through centralized logging and endpoint protection. These roles will support both infrastructure services and user-facing Linux endpoints, with a strong emphasis on security and compliance aligned to CMMC requirements.
This position is on-site in North Logan, UT, and requires close collaboration with cloud, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams.

  • Integrate Linux systems with enterprise identity systems (IDAM) with MFA in both online and offline scenarios
  • Configure and manage PAM policies for authentication and privileged access
  • Deploy and maintain EDR solutions (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Endpoint for Linux)
  • Implement centralized logging using Rsyslog and forward logs to Microsoft Sentinel
  • Manage patching, updates, and software lifecycle across Linux servers and endpoints
  • Establish and maintain secure connectivity between on-prem and Azure resources
  • Support audit readiness and continuous monitoring for compliance frameworks (CMMC)
  • Troubleshoot system, security, and integration issues across hybrid environments

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience administering Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, or similar) across servers and/or endpoints
  • Experience with disk encryption (LUKS) and secure communication protocols (TLS)
  • Strong understanding of Linux authentication (PAM) and enterprise identity integration with MFA
  • Experience with EDR tools on Linux (Microsoft Defender preferred)
  • Experience configuring centralized logging (Rsyslog, SIEM integration such as Sentinel)
  • Experience managing patching and software distribution across multiple Linux systems
  • Familiarity with Azure, Azure Government, or hybrid cloud environments
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • Must be able to travel as needed (not a normal expectation)
  • Valid CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent) is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Azure Arc, Foreman, or Red Hat Satellite for managing Linux servers and endpoints
  • Experience automating configuration and compliance (Ansible, Bash, or similar)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel and KQL for log analysis
  • Experience with PKI solutions such as Sectigo for certificate management
  • Background supporting CMMC, NIST 800-53, or similar compliance frameworks
  • Experience in hybrid environments, integrating on-prem infrastructure with Azure

  • Hands-on experience implementing STIGs and validating compliance using SCAP

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
