Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a Technician for cable and harness assembly. This position includes communicating and providing feedback to engineering, interfacing with Stockroom and Manufacturing Specialists, and completing necessary workmanship training in crimp cable harnesses, hand soldering, visual inspecting of assemblies, potting of connectors, and cable specific testing and labeling. Occasional overtime conditions may be requested for this position.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma, GED, or some higher education
  • Ability to see a project though from start to finish
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and detail oriented
  • Ability to learn automated machine operation
  • Ability to identify and work through problems that may arise
  • Skilled at hand soldering and reworking cable assemblies
  • Ability to pass IPC and NASA training to space level quality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products (i.e., Word, Excel)
  • Comfortable with teamwork and communication within the team
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or other U.S. person
*Salary Range
  • $34,000 - $68,000
    • Salary commensurate on education and relevant experience
